Join the Lab

We are always looking for curious, motivated people to join our lab. We believe a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives is critical for doing creative and impactful science, and welcome inquiries from students and postdocs from diverse backgrounds and fields that are interested in joining a small, highly collaborative lab group.

Postdocs. If you’re interested in joining the lab as a postdoc, send James a brief description of your interests, a CV, and references.

 

Graduate Students. Graduate students can join the lab through the Entomology Department graduate programs or the Nelson Institute, but are strongly encouraged to contact James well in advance of the application deadline with a brief description of research interests, experience, and funding. 

 

Undergraduates. If you are an undergraduate interested in pursuing an independent research project in the lab or joining an ongoing project, get in touch with James at james.crall[at]wisc.edu.
