We study the behavior, physiology, and ecology of insects, and how they are impacted by rapid environmental change in the Anthropocene. We are especially interested in how climate change and agricultural intensification affect bees and the ecosystem services they provide to agriculture. We address these questions by developing scalable, quantitative methods for studying bees, the health of their populations, and how they interact with plants.
Interested in joining? We are always looking for folks interested in joining the lab, and we value people that bring a diversity of backgrounds, interests, and expertise
