We study the behavior and ecology of insects, and how global environmental change - like agrochemicals, altered climate, and landscape transformation - is altering the behavior and health of bees. We are especially interested in the role behavior plays in mitigating these impacts and driving resilience in the Anthropocene. We use pollinators as a system to address these questions and try to understand implications for conservation and pollination services in agroecosystems, and develop technology-enabled approaches for study bees and their behavior.
